They don't much care monte, it's just that until a cow is in the freezer there are not many bragging rights.
Oh ok, that's funny.

Before and after one day of rain after the long Georgia drought. Dug a new pond during dry spell.

Kubota B7800 front end loader. Just can't stop playing in the dirt on one thing or another!
Wow, that's some soil you've got there. I don't own any property where you could dig much of a pond with a FEL, that's a real small one too. Back hoe on it? I had to buy a dozer to do the ponds on my ranch. You're very fortunate.

Wish I had a backhoe, but amazed what a box scrape with teeth will do. Did some playing with the P500 when it was dry to try out 4WD.

Nice house pic, would make great Christmas card. Merry Christmas to the heartlanders from Georgia!

Thanks, I assume you're referring to that in the avatar? It's hard to tell in avatar pics, little as they are, but that's a covered RV with full deck. I hope for the house to come next year. You're right though, it would make a nice holiday card.

I stuffed it with a clean rag. Then I used paper shop towels and simple green to wipe out the air box. I used a shop vac for any crud that fell to the base. Then finished with the paper towels. Taking your time it was easy to avoid anything going into the intake.

I see, but if some dirt drops into intake, will be the engine doomed??

Yes.. aliens will decend, go to probing and you'll never be able to ride again.
I'm serious I think few dirt chips went into and I just 5HP vacuum to suck it hopefully successfully.

Started in and was ok so no sure if to worry now and take the rest of air intake apart or leave it alone.

No pics...but making progress. Unfortunately, time has not been on my side.

I'm making progress on my broken skid plate bolts. I had 7, I'm down to 3. The first 3 drilled out and I was able to remove them. No Rivnut needed. The 4th one, I was not so lucky. I had to drill it out for the rivut. 3 more to go. hopefully finish that up tonight.

Then I can get back to the actual servicing of the bike (oil change, diff oil, spark plug, valves).
