Got one question though. The front wheel is 6" wide running a 26x8x12 tire. Could I run (safely) a 27x9x12 tire on that 6" rim? I would really like to run a 27" tire all around but the narrowist I can find is a 9". I don't think it's ideal but it is what it is.

We run 11s on 7" wheels (rear); I'd assume no issues with a 9 on a 6...

Got my new tires mounted today. Stayed with the Tusk Megabite 8-Ply radials in a 27x9x12 front and 27x10x12 rear. Shout out to RMATV who had a great price and super fast shipping. I like the look and they ride great on the pavement. Got em aired up pretty hard right now but headed to the woods tomorrow so I'll air down and let you know how they do. With the nerf bars and Yamaha wheels it aught to do good.........

Replaced the spring on my left rear shock, replaced some bolts that had come out of the skid plate, worked on installing the inclosure I bought last winter. Trying to get ready for the MoM.

Put a door net on so Beretta doesn't fall out and get hurt Last week she was acting crazy like sled dogs do and fell out. Also put the sled dog training lines on so I can train when it is cool enough. Did one run last Saturday with temporary lines. Will be using this instead of the quad for most of the fall training. In about an our we will be going to the corn maze to work for the evening. Beretta is ready to cheer for the Buckeyes.

I’ve always thought Dog Sledding was cool. When I see it on tv some teams are small 4 dogs and some have 12 to 16. Why the big variation. A sled dog would be unemployed where I live

12 of the 14 on Team USA who are going to Spain for the championship in November are friends of mine. Anna Marmann from Atlanta GA will be racing canicross, one and 2 dog bike. very good friend. Nick and Joy Weis, friends from Missouri are also racing several classes. Mushing is not only northern although you do have to be careful in the heat. Many of these dogs love running so much that they can run them selves to death. Won't put more of this off topic stuff in this thread unless it is running the dogs with the P5.

Today I put on the 1.5 inch spacers. Unless it is my imagination it feels more stable being 3 inches wider. Seems to handle fast turns better. I will have to take them off to run any 5o inch trails in Michigan.

Nah, it'll still fit on the 50" trails.

Met up with a friend who got great deal on 2018 P500 with 400 miles on it. Looked like brand new. Loaded with a ton of options including an aluminum skid plate. Did some running around in the woods with them. He's new to the SXS world.

Sounds like where I was back in June but mine had 1200 miles.

Try it or measure the distance. The problem is sone dickhead ranger with a ‘gauge’ built from 3, 1x4s can measure the distance and cite you.

Your call.

It is more stable- I’m convinced with 1” front and 1.5” rear spacers.

My P5 and I hosted an all girl Buggy ride on Saturday. We had 5 of my closet friends, including my daughter there. It was great fun and I might have 2 more ladies excited to be driving their buggy’s… We had a 700 and a Rzr in our group.

Put falcon ridge doors on. The instructions suck, but got er done. They do great job blocking the breeze at speed. For 140 bucks I think they'll do just fine.
