That looks so clean but we need a light in AZ to be street legal.
Not today, but Sunday. Took her for the maiden voyage on the ice. Helped a couple buddies move their bobhouses and did a little fishing. Saw some on the fish finder but they were tight lipped. Overall about 15 miles on the lake. Only took one picture, touch screen and fingers and -15 windchills don’t mix well.
You shouldn't have a problem with law enforcement. I've seen boat and utility trailers with plates mounted sideways on their fender (some without the required light). I only stopped them if it was a slow day and then looked for "other" things to consider.
Otherwise, it was just a warning (I didn't write tickets for nonsense like that).

Utah requires a light for it to be street legal.
I found this LED light on amazone for $12 or so and it's worked so far. I tapped into the tail light for power so if the lights are on, the plate is lit.

Next time you ride see how hot that plastic gets, if it doesn’t melt doubt a light would.

have mine mounted on the muffler cover with a light and all is fine. been like that for almost a year. as long as you tie up the wires you should be good to go.

I installed the high beam light bar trigger from the club store to control a small light bar in the front. I ran it through a seven pin on/off/on switch so I can have it on with lights or just on or off. I repurposed the seven pin after replacing it with the ten pin key on /aux power switch from the store. Everything I get from the club store is top shelf.
Added Club Store reverse lights. They are really bright! Also added the Seat belt bypass. The wife got them for me for Christmas and I installed them right after. Just didn't have a chance to post until now.
Same here, looks great there and is always showing even with the tailgate down. My plate is from Azon and is metal. When I mounted it, I put several stacked small washers behind the plate so there is a slight gap for air between plate and plastic shield. Never has it gotten hot, great place for a plate!

Finished cleaning up my dual battery and switch plate setup. I know a lot of ppl dislike using rivets but for me, they will be MUCH easier to mess with than trying to hold onto a nut to remove a bolt/screw. Couldn’t have done this without the help of all the people on this forum!
I also gotta say that I really like the fact that I can have accessory juice with key on or key off via the DPDT on-off-on switch.

Turns out my spare Superwinch was more than full of mud. It previously stopped going to free spool and it was full of mud. It also had a broken magnet mount and the motor was locked up with corrosion and mud. Motors are indefinite back order.
Enter the replacement winch. Traveller 6000. Very similar line speed and power consumption to the Superwinch and 6000lbs pull capacity with a wireless remote. Even the wife said " it looks cooler on there"
We will see how this 3 year warranty works. I'm certain this will get used. I'm a bit worried about only 45ft of cable but give it a year and I'll have 55' of Amsteel rope on there. Otherwise there's 55' of Amsteel in my spares bag when the stock stuff comes apart. Winch definitely looks like a beast and sounds better/smoother than I expected

3 year warranty was a selling point and locally available at tractor supply. It sounds a lot better than I expected. If Pioneer Takeover goes like last year maybe I can run it at near full load for 150-200ft on trail 26. My poor driver's door hinges probably don't want to get relocated again

Worst part was I put it all back together and the dash cluster was dead. Somehow the plug came out on the dash side so I got to tear it apart a second time.Wow! No fear diving in there..
