The last thing I recently added is a dimmer for the interior lights. The lights were so bright it is ridiculous. Sometimes being that bright is a good thing but sometimes I want to run them real dim where they will barely glow and I can see the dash while riding at night.

What dimmer switch did you use @joeymt33 ?

Thank you sir! I love those interior lights but sometimes they can be a bit too much.

Does that dimmer turn the led on and off or is there a separate switch for that? Also I'm debating on a rocker switch for the stereo. Is it a good idea to have one or would the power button on the stereo itself work the same?

I like to have a rocker switch for on the excess trees, but you can use the dimmer switch to turn the lights on and off.

Also for the stereo I like to have a rocker switch to remove any power going to stereo. It's up to you really.

When removing all power from the stereo with a rocker switch, wouldn't that reset all radio presets and internal clock?

You are correct. My apologies, for the stereo I have one wire is hot all the time to retain memory.

Thanks for the clarification. I will be powering a 400 watt amplifier also so I do believe I will be needing a switch for that.

I've got the lights mounted because I grew impatient but I'm dragging my feet on the wiring part because I'm afraid of messing something up that I can't reverse. I'm installing the Bussman and isolator soon. View attachment 22126View attachment 22127View attachment 22128

Thanks! I'm addicted to how BA yours looks I'm inspired to build a close relative . I'd love to lift it too but it'll probably be one of the last things I end up doing. I'm so excited for the end result!

Btw, the Honda lights are half as bright as the cheap $20 Amazon lights. I don't recommend them.

Glad I didn't buy them. They were a reward for Ride of they year in 2015. I will say that they are built like a tank though. They should last forever.

Thanks Windrock1000! I had a tough time finding that color but it fell into my lap at the last minute so I lucked out on it.
