P1000 Transmission Rattle

I have the same issue. 2022 1000-5. Sounds like marbles in a tin can when accelerating or under load. Dealer said it is normal, but like Russ989 said, I got a tip to put 4oz of Lucas oil in the sub trans and it seems to have helped a lot. I'm in Northern NY and hope it doesn't affect sub zero degree operation in January.

You have the 4WDI? I've had mine since 08/16 and have never had the rattle issue?

Yes, I have the 4WDI. Mine started around the 300 mile mark.

I think the culprit is the split anti-backlash gear itself being overcome by the pulses of the 270* engine and that’s probably why they just said F#&@ IT and went with a conventional setup.
