For a complete solution, I'll be selling only the filters. Seems like most people use the filters. I will be selling the tube only so people can put whatever they want on top of it. This pre-cleaner is not a bad idea but for that price, I will not spend the effort to compete.
I really wanted a spinning particle separator to work but they weren't very effective with varying RPMs.
Sourcing parts and timing all those parts is a job in itself. I'm one person at this time so I can't chase down a bunch of parts suppliers. My projects have to be simple for me and customers.

Latest update:
Shop is cutting aluminum cover plates this week 1-10-22.
Next week 1-17-22 I'll be welding the cover plates onto tubes.
Week of 1-24-22 the assemblies will be powder coated.
Week of 1-31-22 I should have the first wave of kits ready for shipping.

Haven't received a definitive answer from Desertcraft yet on a 3" outlet filter.

I'll have to release the pre-filter kits using R2C only at first.

Currently working a deal with made in the USA Filterwears, Inc. for filter mesh covers with my logo. They have been very helpful so far.

@highpocket74 's snorkel kit is awesome. Very well built and easy to install. Takes longer to get all the factory pushpins out than it does to get it installed. Brian includes a handy template that makes it super easy to make the fender cut.

This is what you'll be pulling out (factory intake tube and baffle):

Hole cut (don't drill the extra push pin holes just yet. If you want to use them, install the plate/tube first and then mark them and drill versus using the template). Brian is going to add this into the install instructions going forward:

Tube installed. I don't think you need the extra push pins (two exposed holes in the plate) unless you run a longer extension off the base plate. It's rock solid using just the two factory bolts:

I'm running a Spectre filter and will be using a Filter Wears like I've done on the Pioneer.

If you have a Live Valve, there's one clip that's a pain in the ass to get loose when you're removing the inner fender for the install.

I used my multi-tool pliers to reach in and squeeze the backside to release the connector.

Yep, once the rain stops and I can get it out of the garage I'll take a pic of it installed.

Another cool thing about the 10-80 snorkel is that it clears the rear SATV window by a good inch or so even with a big dry filter installed 👍

50 miles in a muddy national forest trail last week and the pre-filter stayed clean. Mudbusters are a must if you don't want mud thrown in your shirt collar!

Wondering about your impressions of the change in intake noise heard in the cab with your intake vs. stock.
I installed a S&B early on, which works great, but not happy with the increase in intake noise and the fan noise.
I love the concept of the cleanable / replaceable filter and your implementation.

Well I don’t have any Fan noise! There is more sucking sound from the intake mainly when you drop the hammer. I don’t know how to measure the difference in sound accurately. I can say that my wife rode 50 miles with me and didn’t complain. That’s worth gold!

I ripped mine around a bit after I installed it and there isn't much of an audible difference to me either.

If you run a smaller closed cell foam oiled filter you could probably sneak it in there. You could probably tilt the can mounts some as well to clear a standard K&N style filter.

Looks nice Adam! Glad install went smooth. And I’m stealing some of your pics for my website!!! Those are good ones!!

I’m ordering filterwears with my logo for the kits. That the only part you really see from the side. It will take weeks to get the first order though.

Shop didn’t get my cover plates cut last week so I’m really hoping they get them this week. I’ve got tubes waiting for them now. This is a few of them. I’ve been test fitting each of these on my machine and now I’m satisfied that my jig is accurate!!
