If it was a R model I probably would, even though I want a 23 or newer 4 seat. 1800 miles for 10k is hard to beat, for a trail ready machine.

Context:

Bamm00 (who's name is Chris) is my ex-husband. He has been in the market for a side by side, for a while and was ready to buy. I helped him get a good price with Shane at Honda of Fairfield. Then the poor guy fell and broke his Knee... I mean destroyed it! Crush zone, multiple Tibial plateau fractures... it is bad. Surgery and no weight bearing for the next 10-12 weeks. Futzin stepped in to help go pick up the Talon after dropping my Mini Cooper off to be worked on yet again (I know I need to let it go, I just can't yet.) So long story short.... I am helping Chris make decisions, managing the logistics of ordering & acquiring parts. All so when he is recovered, he is ready to ride. Futz is going to help me mechanic, so this is going to get interesting. Build Thread coming soon...

**For those interested .. I will personally purchase a Talon likely next year. I feel I still need to master the P5 and confidence level in my driving skillz before leaping up to a Talon. Plus my pocketbook is getting thin with the Farm purchase and renovations.

Nope. Bamm is short for Bamm Bamm (Flintstones Reference) a nickname from his work.

He was a heavy equipment mechanic and fabricator. His first day of work... he picked up a sledge hammer and knocked the side out of some sort of CAT bucket they were working on. Now everyone calls him Bamm.

It was just a ploy to get information. I’ve been interested all along!

Quick question since the build thread isn't up yet:

Was considering putting my 30x10x15s (6+1) on it. Is it correct that the rear is 3" narrower than the front?
i.e. need 1.5" spacers in rear for equal widths front to back?
Also, the bolt pattern is 110, so a spacer adapter would be needed. Looking like rear would be 2" narrower (1" adapter front, 1/5" rear).
Issues with that?

I’ll have to look back at mine, but I did the same all around and have a 1” spacer on the back. Makes for easy rotation. It’s close to being even but the back is 1/2” narrower on each side.

Talon Bolt pattern is 4x137(136) If running same rim backspacing all around you typically run 1 1/2" or 2" spacers on the rear only. You can run 6/1 backspacing or a 5/2 backspacing rim. I believe I run 5/2 on my talon 1000X with 2" rear spacers

They may have spacer that adapt bolt patterns from 136 to 110. I have adapters on my parents P700 going the other way so that we can run Talon wheels on it.

Biggest RB3 adapter I see is a 1.5", 136 to 110.
Can use that on the rears.
Will have to use a 1" adapter spacer on the front.
Possibly resulting in a 2" narrower rear end (ha).
Any issues with that?

It’ll never win ROTM because we will be judging that unmatched track width. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Not an issue, rear will just be significantly narrower. Even with 2" on rear and nothing on front it is a little narrower. Are you just doing this for a temporary usage? If not temporary, I'd swap out the rims to fit the talon.

Just trying to utilize a set of tires/wheels currently sitting.
30x10x15 on 6+1 offset beadlocks with 4x110 pattern.
Might not be feasible . . .

I’m sorry futz. I didn’t clearly read that. Didn’t comprehend you were using the 6/1. Disregard my explanation of what I did. ! I’m a moron.
