Power converter from 12v to 5v ordered with arrival on Thursday

Just curious 🤔 why not wire it directly to the key-on 12V busbar or similar?

12v vs 5v… it will be wired directly into the Auxbeam but need to step down the voltage

Did you find a factory winch ground cable? I found the positive cable, but have not found a ground.

No ground… they removed it and have a mount point up front that I tapped into

exactly where i used. Just making sure I didnt miss something

Still debating if I should snug up the buckle around the mounting point or leave loose like they are now

I tighten them around the bar so they aren't constantly sliding side to side.

Removed front a-arm guards for surgery tomorrow…. A few loose ends should also arrive tomorrow… and one surprise should show up Saturday as well

Ok, it's been 3 hours to do a 1 hour project, werz the pitchers?

@WillyBill put A-arm guards on his X (maybe different than an R) - at full lock they were hitting the caliper hard enough to push the pucks in and the next time he hit the brakes, there weren't any. So ... check yours ... Our very own King Richard told Bill what was happenin' IIRC

Oh s***… I’ll check that as well… kids happened so no progress tonight… just preparing for surgery tomorrow

Wrapping things back up…center console reinstalled, seats reinstalled…

Whips installed

Front plastic reinstalled… windshield fully installed and full length mud guard jnstalled

Surgery completed on a-arm guards… also added a rubber piece to the front clamp as it wasn’t tight last time

Wheels and tires installed

Tree kickers mostly installed… had to temporarily remove the side skids (to access the bolts) also trim off trailing arm skids
