Finally got what I was waiting for. AED Fabrication and Design 1st ever made swing out rear tailgate with shelf. Designed to hold a Yeti 45 cooler (you figure out how you want to fasten it down) but there is enough space for a full size Packout. (again, you would need the mounting plate) . I’m gonna do a separate thread for this alone, but this is an exactly what I wanted when I talked to David about building it. Pivot point has a sealed bearing so there’s no bushing to wear out or squeak. Strong bear claw clasp for the latch. He took and idea/concept I had in my head and created it. Very impressed.

It really compliments the end of the Talon too.

It looks great. I'm hoping Honda will announce the 2025's. I'm thinking about replacing my 2019 Talon R before I get 50,000 miles on it. With all the extra weight the ground clearance looks good. With the sway bar off it should lean way too much in the corners so I expect having the sway bar connected will be important.
