So the wife wants me to seal the gaps at the rear of all 4 doors. Examined how the door pivots inward notably on the front doors and came up with an idea to test out. Got ahold of @trigger and had him send me the material he fabricated the triggershield from. The front doors will take approximately a 12" wide by 18" tall section on each side to seal off the drivers doors. Will be able to use factory push pins along the B pillars where the front of the rear door overlap and latches, the the font piece will secure on the back edge of the door with 3 or 4 push pins. The rubber material should easily allow for the movement while being water and wind proof.

Screenshot 20241116 012403 Gallery2
Red outline approximately area covered by material, yellow is attachment points, orange is cutouts needed. will need to make a flexible bar top and bottom to keep material pressed against the rear door to aid in sealing and keeping the front edge in place when closed. The inside of the front door pivots about 3" inward upon opening, then flush when closed.
Screenshot 20241116 012530 Gallery

Rear door will seal in similar manner as front except all push pins will be along inside door hinge area.

It really help with the cold air & water intrusion when riding in the fall

The door gap seal project looks like it's going to work good, definitely fit fine.

With Triggershield material. Thanks @trigger 😊

How it's attached to the front door backside. Just drilled four 5/16th holes and used Honda fender clips. Everything else used existing holes and hardware.

Got everything installed that came in. Very happy thus far with how it's turned out. Really impressed with the Wolf box camera rearview mirror setup for $100.

Which heating elements did you go with?
The Tusk brand from Rocky Mountain ATV, I bought them for the RMAX but never installed them, they use 50 watts each, but get to about 150 degrees. Two elements per box both approx 10" wide by 16" long.

Rain dripping on your knee from the half assed OEM roof rain drip rail?

Madder than a wet hen and want to do something about it for $8?

Why not use the RV J-Channel rain gutter? 16 Ft for $24 enough for 3 machines.

Mount right onto windshield frame, fits the SuperATV glass windshield for Talons perfectly.

Notched out an goes up underneath the roof line approx. 1" so roof drip rail overhangs into the J channel to funnel rain down the A pillar and not on your leg! VERY pliable rubber brush should not affect it, if so, replace the strip for $4.

Took the Talon out for the first trail ride. Covered about 50 miles and it was a good ride. I really like the trail manners of the suspension and how the chassis handles overall. Got to train myself for low speed riding, the throttle response is really impressive, I added a ThrottleMaxx like I have had on my Pioneers but this is a whole different beast. It like cruising closer to 20 mph instead of 10. 😁

I am able to plant my heel solid using the ThrottleMaxx in the Talon just like in the Pioneer. I am letting off the gas in anticipation of the Talon bucking like the P1K5 but it doesn't due to the added 36" of wheelbase. It's a matter of poor timing and anticipation of 30K miles of experience and muscle memory from the Pioneers I've owned. I just need to learn to trust the machine to do it's thing.

I'm very happy with the ride and handling. Surprised at the throttle response difference.

It’s why I notched my gas pedal…and to gain more leg room. It was a super easy cheap mod. It’s a dang shame the pedal requires some modifications imo.
