The manual posted there is a 2016 manual. The 2016s might already have the sensor they have in the 2017.
I believe mine has this, been looking mine over closely since the hi way crash and I think it there. Been checking out the a arms and front suspension for damage, alinement is off.

So it does have an engine oil temp sensor. It obviously doesnt monitor the oil temp in the dct. Or other wise we wouldnt be talking about it. Maybe, just maybe the 17s the sensor is in the case of the dct and though the ecm it can put the engine into limp mode to self protect like the popo's and their belt temp systems

Really haven't dug that deep since its under warranty, I can buy 3 years of extended warranty for around $ 600.00, thats why I was wondering how much clutch assemblies cost.

I wouldn't believe Honda will continue to replace clutches very long into that warranty. Keep in mind the clutches are a "wear item"

Just dont post any pics of you actualy using the pioneer for any thing on here or there is a chance they might tell you that its not covered under that extened warranty.
