Tractor attachment for rolling/compacting dirt? Noticed the zerk fitting so thinking it must have a bearing for rolling. Interesting post.

I think you might be on the right track. I don't know anything about mechanical farming, but I could make a mule gee and haw when I was a kid. My neighbor guessed it was part of a power take off on a tractor running a large rubber belt to another piece of equipment, and I don't think he was 100% sure.

Change of plans. KG begged off due to weather concerns. Valid. Turned out the fronts hit harder here than where we were on the ride. That's Mother Nature for ya. Our area got hit hard again with damage and outages. Our places escaped damage fortunately. Hope everyone is all right after the last day or two. Nasty stuff.

We had a great time on the Memorial Day ride. We did get wet!

New 520 owner here. Just installed the Honda flip out windscreen and soft roof and rear panel. Hoping to up grade the tires to 26’s soon and a winch. Any recommendations on tires that may improve the ride somewhat. It is what it is and I knew that when I purchased it. But I like how it can go most places an atv can.

Howdy from Oklahoma Dean, and welcome to the club. I am still running the OEM size tires. Hopefully someone who has upgraded, can help you on that. In the meantime you might try lowering the air pressure in the original tires. I run about 8 PSI front and 6-7 PSI rear, and it rides a "little" better.

Thanks for the reply. I’ve dropped the psi on all 4 tires to around 6. Haven’t had a chance to really try that yet. The extra ground clearance would nice with a bigger tire. I’m not too bothered by the ride as is.

A 6-ply should ride slightly better than an 8-ply, but perhaps not as durable.
Stick with a 12" tire/wheel; a 14" will yield less sidewall and rubber to soften the ride.
