Yard work is over for the season here. Waiting on my plow, hoping no snow till I get it.I did the yard work thing too.

Gotcha. I'm too lazy to get ahead. Went for a short ride instead.Usually is here too, but it was over 50 degrees so I took advantage of the weather to get a head start on spring.
Moved my plow relay because I’ve got a box on the way!
Also adding a couple of lights for night plowing while I have access to the wiring.
So where dose one put the solenoid so it is out of the way?
I just installed my winch and thought about making a spot for the solenoid but then I didn't want it in the way of a glove box or EPS or the under hood cargo tray.
Then I started thinking about making a tray to hold ammo cans instead of the cargo tray.
Finally decided to use the Honda bracket since I will end up moving the solenoid several times anyway.

Took the DeathTrap to shoot sporting clays. Great day.
Those are the stock wheels and tires on my buddy's Recon.

What'd I miss?DeathTrap, lol!

I figure someone made another glorified rancher comment.Apparently the dude named his P5 DeathTrap...IDK...I found it funny!

Yep..I can operate mine from a dash switch, rocker switch mounted at the winch,or by 10ft. remote.A majority of winch operations should happen outside the rig so you can watch winch and or machine. As a truck/Jeep wincher for years, the first time I used an incab SxS switch I knew it was going to be the last.
Sold several Jeeps after the Cruiser and I keep my 8274 everytime. Paid $200 35 years ago. Mounts were cheap until new JK ($400). Youngin's do scratch their heads starin at it....My cheap wireless remote kept in the Choobox is still working with original battery 2+ years. The best Accessory for under $20. Range is more than cable length. Wish I had a wireless remote back in 1980s with the FJ40 and 8000lb Warn winch. Think I paid $400 back then, and the new version is now $2k. One BA winch.

What year is that FJ?.I had a 71,72,and a 74 with the 350 Chevy conversion. In my opinion, the 6's were better. My 71 was like your light blue one.If I remember correctly,my 71 was 3 speed on the tree.My cheap wireless remote kept in the Choobox is still working with original battery 2+ years.
