P500 What did you do to/with your Pioneer 500 today?

50" trail in Colorado, my P500 wouldn't fit through with 1 and 1/2" spacers front and rear. Notice the metal posts are bent outwards from about 18" up. This was done after the SXS Club pressured the US Forest Service because the 50" posts were ripping their doors off. As a result, the bootom of the posts are 50" and the top of the posts are 54" apart.

Hunting in North Carolina. This Florida boy is freezing his back side off. Ain't it great. First buck for the year. Not large but it's meat for the freezer. The hoist worked great. The factory hitch is to low for the down support to work. I think I see a Moose hitch in the near future. I could modify the hoist but what fun would that be. Yep. Same problem with USFS trails here, angled dirt entrance causes top of roll cage to rub on tall posts used for 50 inch restriction. Trail posts/farm fence barriers need to be no higher than tire height. Mud buster fenders stick out and also rub. Wish they were just a few inches wider but less than wheel width of next wider class of machine, maybe 58 inches.

Took Little Red for a ride on the Centennial Trail in the Ocala National Forrest. Here is a picture of us taken a break. Going to take Little Red to Tampa Bay Sporting Clays in the morning.

Went on a Thanksgiving day ride. Took my best buddy that was visiting. He was shocked by how well the 500 did. We did some nasty wet trails effortlessly...
Of course I was testing out the new locker. Very impressed it really performed well. I can live with the manual steering for now. Not too bad.

Yes, there were two gates with 50" signs that I fit through with inches on each side.

That's what I'm wondering. Some say the gates are actually 52" on most trails...and AZ tends to be on the less stringent side.

Indeed, we got belted with snow. However, we escaped down to the Valley of the Sun and spent Thanksgiving turkey-ing away in Mesa.
