Thank you. Seems like I have to slow down and rethink this stuff every time I do it, even though I've been doing it most of my life!

Thanks! Sometimes I'm not sure it's worth the effort, but I'm recently retired so......
It is not my patience that has kept it so clean. As luck would have it, a buddy of mine finally convinced me to sell him my trailer less than a month prior to placing my deposit for the P5. Between no trailer, not wanting to pay for an OHV sticker with less than a month left in 2021 & needing to install a harness for our special needs son, it just holds down the garage floor while the warranty slowly disappears & I work away on it!
What mods are you doing for your son?

We have a form fitted seat that supports his back that I need to modify the headrest on and add a bar for a 5 point harness in the center seating position. All of my welding equipment went along with the machine shop I sold, so unfortunately I have to re-aquire that stuff in about a year when the new house & shop is finished 😒😒😒

FINALLY finished terminating wires today and tested everything. Much to my relief, everything worked perfectly. BIG thanks to @Hondasxs for all of his wiring harnesses that I purchased. They are fantastic! It was nice to get the hood & seat back on after what seems like a couple of months of on & off wiring on this thing. Next is to machine & hydrodip the switch panel.

Did you see mine from awhile back??! Same Idea, but yours (or mine) is upside down. I added a bit of resilient closed cell foam in the jack base so it wouldn't rattle around. Also, hard to see in picture, but I cut a bit of 1.75" ID tubing for the U-bolts to clamp against the roll bar - as I was unsure of the roll bar thickness and didn't want to risk denting it.

I did see a pic on here showing it was possible but I can’t remember whose rig.
I like that it is tucked away and not sticking out
I’m blown away that I can’t hear it back there - mounting these things horizontally is the way to go.

Beautiful, I thought you were above the tree line.
Haven’t had the chance to get this thing anywhere that cool yet but that will be changing in July when we are back in CO doing some 13,000’ stuff. Can’t wait.

I'd have to look again at how pretty my 2nd battery / accessory wiring was...

But then again, everything works and all of the underhood is covered in dirt, so who gives a shat? lol

:D

Man that looks good. I'm so ashamed of mine, that I would never post a picture of it.

Found a way to mount my hi-lift to take on the trail.

What brackets are those? I'm assuming they would work with a knock-off hi-lift jack from tractor supply? I like to take my jack when it's just me and my wife camping and not take up bed space. When I have other people with me I just leave the jack at home.

These are what I used - Hi-Lift Jack TM-700 1"-2" Adjustable Tube Mount Amazon.com
Full disclosure - the tailgate opens fine but you can’t dump the bed with it mounted where mine is at.

These here ones!: Hi-Lift brackets They extend out further than the ones AZBoatHauler used, and have an angle to them that affords more options in positioning the jack. It also allows the jack to be placed down onto the threaded studs, so it stays in place nicely while removing or installing it. The jack, but not the mount, has to be removed for dumping the bed.
