Our gun season in starts Friday in Illinois. I made this to run the winch to the back through the open windshield with a snatchblock pulley on the back bar. Works good.

That’s a neat idea. Clever. I’m sure it makes loading that big buck much easier. Good luck on your hunt. May you get to use your new contraption!

Ha ha I’m kidding around. The wife and I have a running joke. I bought a new Harley (still have it) back in the day and promised the wife I was only changing the seat and handle bars. Well I sunk another 18 grand into the bike, motor work, chrome, wheels and do dads . So now every time I buy a new toy she says “ I know.. only a seat and handle bars.”

KFI hitch plate, great quality, American made. Had to drill another 5/8" pin hole in the shackle hitch block so it would mount to my liking.

Not a bigger pin, Dave.
If you look at the hitch in post 3150, the pin hole is toward the rear of the 2" red metal hitch block.
When I plug it in an pin it, it stuck out too far and all the weight of the hitch and receiver were sticking out forward, on the end. So I drilled another 5/8" hole for the pin(lock), one inch from the tapered shackle end, so more of the hitch is buried in the receiver and not on the end.
Make sense?
I'll add a photo tonight.

I like that setup and went to look at the kfi website. I don’t think it fits a 24 model year and saw a few notes that it doesn’t fit any of the special edition models either. Mines a forest edition. Would be great if someone made something like this for the new models. I like kfi. I have a kfi plow setup on my outlander 850 and just installed another kfi plow setup a couple of weeks ago on the new pioneer 1k5

This model only works with a LE bumper. There are other Pioneer offerings, but I didn't study what fit other year - models. Contact KFI.
