P1000m5 What did you add to/do with your Pioneer 1000 5 today?

Man the visibility on that thing looks horrible, not from the tinting but the aluminum frame around the glass. Lots of blind space!

Not bad at all, or maybe I just don't notice it. I will say that when I have it tilted out 4"... or out to the last stop before fully out the lower frame does block out a bit of the road your on, not a big deal unless it's really rocky which is 90 % of what I travel on. The "A" pillar is just to the left of the bolt head / washer you see at the lower passenger side of the windshield.

Working on some compact, front kick panel speaker pods. Polk 5.25" Marine Audio Speakers, modified pods and mounts.
Mounting with 3m lock and VHB double side tape, to avoid drilling holes, until satisfied with location.
Made them portable for removal.
I am in them for less than a buck and a half.
SSV or Honda pods are ridiculous$$.

They sound excellent with the Polk 6.5" cans in the back.
My intent was to mount them up under the kick panels or under the dash.... but likely will end up on the roof, as Wife doesnt like her step space taken... Finished product pics to come.
just another unnecessary project.

Could have made the mount tabs look a bit cleaner, but they're solid and sound great. And Wife not too mad...on to another.

Treated myself to an early Christmas present. 15” system 3 SB7 beadlocks with 30x10 xtr 370 tires. Rub just a touch at full lock with atlas pro A-Arms (no steering stop). Ordered RB3 wide track kit, hoping that will fix the rub before I break down and add the steering stops.
