Hey y'all!
Finally got around to installing the torque locker in my 520 earlier today.
As I was pulling out the differential, the driveshaft came out from the front, before I realized it.
I have slight concern as the directions say not to do that. I wanted to see if anyone has done that and turned out ok. Also if anyone knows why you're not supposed to take it out of the front and take it from the back instead.
What issues would that cause???
I'm in the middle of the job currently, and torque masters were already closed so I couldn't call them to verify things.
Thanks in advance!!

Also adding a pic as proof it is happening.

Mine came out in the back. Maybe a circlip that didn't hold? Have you tried putting it back in? I wouldn't think it would be an issue as long as it's not bound up between the two when finished. 🤷‍♂️ 906 is more of a gearhead than I am. I got through it but installing the Torq Locker wasn't really in my wheelhouse.

I would suggest pulling the driveshaft off the engine side. I'm guessing it's bound up w rust and or mud and could use a good cleaning. Other than that, no issues. Good luck.

NOMO on my part fo sho

It took a hot minute to get back in. Needed extra sets of hands for it.
Have not fired it up and given a test run yet. Besides getting it back together being a pain, there were no other issues I noticed.
Will check back tomorrow once I've had a chance to test everything.
