Pioneer Ride Of The Century Discussion Thread!!!

Well I may be out for 01-28-17 ride, 20 year old kid lost it on a corner on wet payment slid sideways into me frontal impact, totaled truck, damaged trailer and need to get the Pioneer checked out, back straps broke, S x S hit the front of the trailer pretty hard. I had it in 4 wheel lock and it slid 2 feet on the trailer. Man do I have respect of the engineers that designed air bags, all but the passenger bags went off, no passenger this time. All I wanted to do today was go to Pettigrew for a day of ridding. There are some people who just need to ride bicycles.

I was running 55 and I bet he was doing 70 on bald tires, it happened so quick, I didn't have time to say poop!

The newer trucks/cars are designed so well for crashes, the impact was spread to the middle of the truck, with the weight of the trailer and S x S it buckled the frame behind the cab.

Wow, great to have those airbags. Like the rest I hope he had insurance!

2014 Chevrolet 1500 Z71. I think I'm going to try to find another exact model. Think I might of found one with 8,500 miles for $ 31,000

I'm looking at dually pickups for myself now. Mama has commandeered my Durango now.
