I found a dependable Ford pretty reasonable today. Comes preloaded on top of solid hardware.
No fun there, providing facts and watching you Ford fan boys get butthurt is better entertainment.
Well...I'd say you're pretty entertained then...No fun there, providing facts and watching you Ford fan boys get butthurt is better entertainment.
Congrats on Ram taking second place on sales for the first quarter of this year. They have de-throned GM as the second best selling. They’re still half the sales of ford though.
But I have have stated that the Ram was in the running when truck buying but it came down to the engine and rear suspension that pushed me to the ford. No doubt I’d buy the ram if I were looking into 3/4 or 1 ton trucks.
On the rear suspension, they didn’t have or I didn’t know about the air ride at the time. I just didn’t want the coil springs in the back. That air ride is sweet, one of the guys at work has one and it will lower it self 1 inch when you get to 35 mph and then lower it self another inch when you get to 55 mph. That was pretty sweet. Of coarse it raises when you put in 4x4. But I always felt the truck was somewhat cheap compared to what I’m used to. The doors felt light and weak as did other things. I’m sure it’s fine and the guy still has it and loves it. It just didn’t give me a quality feeling.
Like I told JTW in one of these threads, you have to get the truck that you think will work best for your particular needs. You know it’s all in good fun.
You could probably find a better deal on 4bt out where you’re at then I. I know you’re about 90% joking anyways but you wouldn’t want a 4bt in that truck. Be good in a dedicated hauler or off roader.Ram has the most growth I think for the first quarter. They are coming on strong.
What I really want is my truck with a 4BT. Hey CP, can you hook me up?

Perfect fit for 4bt. Youd love the power and mileage but I’m not sure you’re redneck enough to handle a truck that you have to drive...it’s an LE world out thereI am seriously looking for one for a mid 70s F 100.

Bhahahaha!!!Honestly I’m just over it. It’s your money buy a ram. It’s my money I wanted a ford... I’ve driven all of the half tons and I liked the ford. Until one of you mouthy SOB’s starts paying for it, you can spew your trash somewhere else....

How does the sales #s work? I always thought Ford counted all their f series. And not broke down into specifics like 1500,2500,3500,4500,5500?Congrats on Ram taking second place on sales for the first quarter of this year. They have de-throned GM as the second best selling. The F150 has historically been #1 in sales over Chevy. Because the Chevy and GMC sales # are counted separately. But for 2019, Ram has outsold Chevy. How does the sales #s work? I always thought Ford counted all their f series. And not broke down into specifics like 1500,2500,3500,4500,5500?
Dammit I found it! SHOOTOUT: HONDA PIONEER 1000-5 DELUXE VS. POLARIS GENERAL 1000 EPS DELUXE | Dirt Wheels MagazineWhy don’t you look for a review that shows the Honda is better than the competition ... yet we all own those...

Best-Selling Pickup Trucks In America – February 2019 | GCBCI don’t recall. It was one of TFL videos recently.
Figured the s*** needed stirred. We’re all aware there are more different wants then vehicles available. Good thing for choices.Oh s***, now the LE crowd is gonna get pissy
Ram is going to kick sales number ass if they keep doing what they’re doing in the 1/2 market! They’re a lot more affordable out of the gate and offer a lot for them money. But the issue is the used trucks aren’t going to be worth s*** in 5 years and 100k miles.
