Nothing sounds better than a big gas v8 for sure.
I have a 99 7.4 and your right. Nothing sounds like BB at about 2500 RPMs. 1553980738923512247812657342809

I will say of the diesel engines, the Cummins is definitely the best sounding especially the 5.9 (12v or 24v), with the 7.3 Ford running second place.
Yeah @CumminsPusher his sounds like a jet firing up. It's nice. But nothing like putting your foot down kicking into passing gear in a v8

Just got back home. Real mileage, real world. It’s nothing to brag about but I wanted to share. I’ve got two trips with the same trailer headed to KY soon so I’ll log those miles as well. I’ll be loaded heavier then so it will be interesting.

Interstate speed most of the way and didn’t shut it off for stops.

Was loaded heavy, it took three trips with the p1000-3 to get everything from where I parked the truck up to the house.

Funny how ford didn’t compete in this but I do respect those guys. I still say the max tow f150 is the best towing and hauling 1/2 ton there is. It may not have the nicest interior or as many points in other categories but it out tows that ram every day that ends in “y”.

Ford is typically the highest priced truck but yet still remains the best seller. There’s a reason most choose it even when they could save money.

I’d like to see them test the H.O. 3.5 EB or even a platinum/Limited/king Ranch trim level.

I loaded the bed completely full of tools and parts and had to use the rear seating area to haul the rest of my tools and parts and drove four hours to North Georgia and got over 21 mpg again. Not that I really care that much about fuel mileage but it is still impressive to me. If I cared about fuel mileage I would remove the lift kit and bigger tires.

The article clearly states that the test was between Ram, GMC and Ford .

“ The competitors included the all-new 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 and the 2019 Ford F-150.“. The winner was Ram.

“The all-new 2019 Ram 1500 with eTorque mild hybrid system is the benchmark for durability and efficiency with a high level of technology and luxury not expected in pickup truck segments,” said Reid Bigland, Head of Ram Brand. “The TFLtruck Gold Hitch award is expert recognition and derived from a real-world driving experience that our customers will appreciate when shopping for a new pickup.”

It’s not my opinion, it’s the results of the reviews.
