And this is what I was going for. Plenty of sound, place to keep sunglasses and phone all safe and added three switches that’ll turn on whips/speaker and rings/ exterior and headlights internal rgb led lighting. It’s all going to be tied into one another so figured separate on/off for each system. Will have separate occupant lighting and door as well which I’ve always really liked in the Pioneer.
Got a little trimming to do, add speaker boxes then fiberglass over. But it fits nicely up inside.

I just found one on eBay kinda like what I’m looking for this morning but it’s not cut all the way out, these are recessed and painted. I’m hoping to find one cut all the way through. Was hoping someone here made them already or could. I sent him message to see if they could do it. Got something I want to do😉

If memory serves @highpocket74 of 10-80 dirt sports was working on something. There was definitely a thread about a magnetic plate on here not too long ago anyway. Not sure which model it was for though.

My dash panel is steel for magnetic mounts and solid, not cutouts. I could have something custom made for you if you'd like. Send me a conversation if this is something you're interested in.

Austin at Razor Edge Design SXS Accessories can custom cut whatever you want. His stuff is all powdercoated steel.

That really is a labor of love and everyone can tell. It’s been one of my favorites long before I entered the talon ring. A lot of work you’ve done!

Now that the trailing arm showed up the rear is back together. Everyone lines up and no evidence of foul play. Thanks @906UP and @GPR1500SC was finally able to rehome those parts. Also thank you @HondaTech for the suggestion on the trailing arm brace, it worked perfectly and gives added piece of mind.

Ok complete transparency here. I like RC trailing arm braces but they are a f***n pita to put in😳 didn’t realize it from driver side because it was already torn apart but now doing pass side which includes tank, dash/rear intrusion bar and suspension removal, not to mention any plastic around, it’s not fun to try to do quickly. And if front bushings do wear out I think it’ll be back to it. And they use odd sized bolts so you’re collection of tools strewn around the place is staggering.
Ok b****ing over. After an already long day I came outta that a bit hot I’ll tell ya. They are well built and I’m positive they’ll do the trick. Worth the time.
