The sock arrived just in time a few hours before taking a trip to El Mirage dry lake with my son. Temp was 90F and dry so it didn't feel that hot. I guess it helps not to have a front windshield for now. i've been looking at other rigs around and most people are running nothing in the front or a half windshield. we reached 55mpt but didn't have the guevos to go for more as the this place have some crazy winds that come and go out of nowhere, so either the Talon was moving side to side with the wind or our helmets wanted to fly up or make you neck sink down lol. When the wind wasn't blowing bad the rig was very stable at 50-55mph.

Also a little mad about my driver front CV seems to be seeping a little fluid or grease ? Not familiar with this at all.
I bought the rig used and that CV looked like that when i went to check it out. Part of the deal i thought i was making was for the dealer to replace that CV and i asked them about it. They said sure sure we'll do it.... Guess the mfackers didn't do it they just cleaned the rig out and washed but I can't believe they didn't change the part. Shady dealers playing games.

if the boot isn't leaking and it looks like the seepage is coming from the diff seal - its a common problem on the talons - just an fyi - I have no clue if they changed ir or not (they could have) - I had the same seepage on my new machine - lost my mind over it - dealer replaced with new seal - it seeped right away - then I thought about it and said - that sucks - ill keep an eye on it - then it magically stopped leaking..... there are reports on here of those just keep an eye on it - check diff level periodically and move on....and most stop seeping

if its not the cv boot - its the seal on the diff - no need to swap the axle out....

For some unfathonable reason, Honda can't figure out the front diff seal, usually left side. My first one leaked bad enough to make a mess on the trailer, this one just gathers dirt.

Changed my side mirrors to have a more sportier look and better visibility having them in a more horizontal position.
Also some of the OHV areas i've been looking at do require a whip and flag to be on the UTV so i added an old firestick CB antenna that i wasn't using anymore with an orange flag i picked from Amazon yesterday. Grabbed the idea from youtube from a dude using a CB antenna as a whip and some air compressor quick disconnects that i also had laying around to make it easy to add/remove.

Took the Talon out again for a fun ride. Temps were in the 92-94F range but dry with a nice little breeze. Didn't feel hot one single bit , She's hot flexing her legs

Another fun weekend in the desert. We were going out to scout the trails early morning to avoid the crazy temps we've been having, but still by 8:00am temps were in 97F, super dry, by 11:00am or so temps were a bit too high , then we'll go back late evening.

My 2020 Talon Got the latest improved seal and that fixed it at around 8,000 miles. My 2019 still seeps with the new improved seal. I will install the new seal in the future. I wipe it down every 200 miles. I'm at 40,910 miles now. My buddy has had several new seals installed probably around 10 and it still leaks. A new dif case may be necessary to fix the leak.
