Unless your going w arched arms, then they don't fit
I'm not a fan of a-arms guards. I'll skip that part.

Kenimoto rearview mirror came today

Prime day looks pretty good.

Got a cheap tailgate that we will make work for now. Ordered a 8 button Aux beam panel. Got a few other things too

More importantly I got the Trail Armor skids installed today

Prime day parts are starting to show up.

Not knowing what our long term plans are, I figured a cheap tailgate would help us figure out what we want for storage. $80 prime day deal and a decent license plate mount with a pair of holes added.

Got the Auxbeam 6 gang panel installed today. Wired up power to the roof for a forward light bar and a rear chase light. Tucked the box behind the seat and ran power from the battery and a new ground stud.

Not much of an update but I needed some temporary lighting for the weekend adventure.

Dual 8" RC light bars . This will likely get replaced when we figure out the windshield

Well Drummond Island trip 1 is in the books.

I4wd is cool on high speed gravel. It's on in deep mud with some wheel speed. It is not thrilling on steep rocks. The 30s were a good compromise and the price was right but I was the smallest machine and 32s would be nice in the big rocks. The ride is harsh on the rough stuff but it really accels on gravel and rough roads with the exception of whoop like bumps.

And for the rougher news. Definitely looking for front lower a-arms but not super serious. Need lower radius rods. The 2 Honda's bummed around all weekend with no equipment failure and no repairs, so I can't complain too much in a group that broke an a-arm, lost a wheel and tire, wrecked a brake caliper mount, crushed and cut a brake line, put a machine on its lid, bent 3 radius rods and 2 a-arms

I bent a Radius Arm at TO24. Recently replaced fronts and Rears with CA Tech's Arms. Lot's more clearance and much beefier than stock. I took my Kubota Sidekick (Sushi Sled) to Windrock several years ago. It is slightly lifted on 12s (I know, huh?). Everyone kept telling me to turn around numerous times. I was riding with several Razors (Poo Poos) and a Maverick (Canned Ham). I was the only one who drove it home as it arrived other than lot's of dust, Mud and some tree branch stripes.. I kept up with everyone all day and into the evening. Curious what click you're running your shocks at? Finally I actually beat @Remington to a "I fixed that for you". We will see

Look at the L&W lower a-arms. They are very stout and have lots of extra clearance. The same for the Dragonfire Racing rear radius rods. They have MUCH better joints and are fully adjustable. I have both on mine and have had no problems with them. I do wish the a-arms had heim joints on them rather then the bushings.
At some point in time I may modify them for heim joints to the frame but that's down the road. Maybe a winter project.
The pics are some a-arms I built for my old buggy.DSCN02471427605743197

Got the Talon out of the garage today. A-arms were a quick swap. Greased the bushings and sleeves and slapped them in.

With the installation of front arms about half the damage from Drummond Island is fixed. Still trying to figure out a rear radius rod solution

L&W Arms. Painted red because the wife didn't think blue was a good color

No complaints about the heft vs stock.

I just picked up a pair of those. What did you use to paint them? Did they not have the red powder coated versions?

Mine were picked up used. I used Rust-Oleum 2x paint and primer in Red, Scarlet red if I recall correctly. It was in the cabinet, it was red. I have low expectations for paint life.
