I will vote once my machine has enough miles....... How many miles should I run it before voting anyway?
It's not really a vote. You have a P1K, have you had clutch problems or not. I think they've been manifest as early as 2-300 miles.

If you go and look at the videos of jackal and the others back in the fall down in Tn. He's running 30" tires if I'm not wrong. That was some ruff sh*t for over a hundred miles. It's hard for me to be leave that it's an engineer default. I'm hoping it's a bad batch of clutches and in a year all will be well.

I'm with ya.. I think that's probably 90+% of the problem. Hasn't seemed to affect the later year models the same way.

PK5 550 miles. No clutch problems yet. Bought new in June of 2016. Use it every day around the farm.

What kind of clutch system does the 500 and 700 have? Any issues?

The 700 uses a torque converter just like a automatic transmission in a car or truck

The 500 is a Forman sxs.
Wait..... It's exactly a forman?

Like it's as bulletproof? It has a different clutch system no?

I had no idea. So it's a different animal than the 1000?

Does it have a manual shifter? Or is it still electronic

It's a little slow and underpowered for its size.. There's no diff lock and it's a tippy little booger, but it's a Forman sxs so take it how you will.

The 17's are both manual and auto.. think esp on a Forman. I much prefer my 1000 to the 500 I had but it had its perks. I do think that the p500 will probably hang around a longtime, partially due to the lack of speed, weight and power.

Mine's got like 12 miles. I really don't feel qualified to "vote" yet.
Jesus, you have less than me @ 50! I still posted in the poll no clutch problems.

That's an interesting point. And something that Honda should easily be able to determine. Does anyone know if these are all made in one or multiple facilities?
