The motovators have the least aggressive pattern and they typically don't break parts and they only dig to the skid plate. Despite being heavy they crawl around very well in soft terrain. They drive like a mud terrain on road loud but not too bad
Good info. Might be an option when replace time rolls around.

Good thread
Achilles Desert Hawk MT look like a solid choice and will likely go on new 15inch bead lockers when time.

curious what size would be recommended with factory suspension/a arms? Nonrub is my goal.

I posted to this thread last year and will take this opportunity to follow up.

I went with stock-size 27" Interco Sniper 920's for my 2021 P1K5 LE.

I don't have enough miles, terrain or winter seasons on the tires to say much other than they seem to be pretty good tires. My rig is street legal and I ride pavement and gravel roads a lot, and at high speeds. I also need to plow snow that gets super deep with an ice rink underneath. I am happy with the tires so far, but this will be my first winter. (It's coming . . , sorry cliche).

My huge gripe and dumb sh_t regret is that I didn't go with 28's. This tire comes in 28" 11-14 and 9-14 and I should have done it. I'd like a little more clearance and the posts state that 28" tires don't need modifications---not that there's anything wrong with modifications. [I can't modify or lift much because I'm an inch clear under a garage door that would take load-bearing structural work to change.]

The photos are of my rig with the 27" 920's and my newest purchase: v-bar chains. I'm at 8,000 feet in Utah's Wasatch Mountains - tons of snow and ice. I'm now scrounging for carpet remnants so those v-bars don't cleat the cement in the garage. The chain tensioners showed up today.

Good luck.
