Got the preload adjusted, put some new valve stems on since I needed to reseat the beadlocks, put etrack on the trailer and gave the trailer a once over, rotated the tires on the truck... just need to mow/brush hog and we’ll be ready to pack up. Rolling out early Wed, pit stopping in La Veta, then should be at Taylor Park on Thur around 1-2pm.

Couldn't buy permit on line unless its a yearly pass, the lady I talked to said have to buy them at the Park?

I think the yearly pass is 25.25.... same as always.... nothing less that I know of.... but easy to buy at about any place that sells fishing licenses... Wal-Mart.. ace hardware...

Hoping mid late afternoon? Will depend on how the first day of Tavel goes. Also the time change I’m sure I’ll be a cluster f*** coming from the Eastern zone so I really can’t tell you what time. Math and me aren’t friends. It’s makes fun of me! Haha

I just got off the phone with the RV park in Taylor Park. I would suggest everyone that made a reservation before the ownership change. Give them a call and just double check your reservation. I had them email me a confirmation # just to be sure.

I was kind of worried about that and called a few weeks ago to check... everything was good.

The previous owners just took my CC# to hold the spots. New owners want a $50 deposit for each spot. Also full cost of spot if you cancel less than 30 days in advance.

Hmm, he just said he had all my info and I confirmed the dates, but he didn’t mention anything about a deposit... of course, maybe there’s a difference between cabin and RV spots?

@Alan And family are leaving tomorrow so I’m heading over there to have a nice steak dinner before they go. There have been extremely hospitable and very very kind to me. Wonderful wonderful people.!.!
