Christmas miracle at my dad's house.
Tree just missed the house, and he was late getting home because of snow storm. Otherwise pickup truck would have been crushed.

I took the P520 for a short ride around the property checking for fallen trees from our last winter storm. Luckily, everything looked pretty good.
However, as I was getting ready to pull the P520 into its shed, the rear view mirror fell off?
It simply broke off. Crazy. I certainly didn’t expect something like this to happen considering it’s a Honda part. Ohhh well. I’m gonna have to look for an alternative replacement.

Odd. I've put my P500 with Honda mirror through quite a bit with no issues; installed one on my 520...

Yeah, I'm dumbfounded. I haven't touched it in months and I can't see how it got fatigued after installation....unless it had a defect from the beginning.
I was literally sweeping out the shed with the P520 running when I heard a 'clunk', which I thought was odd. I walked out to the SxS and saw my mirror sitting on the floorboard, lol.

Honda might warranty that for you.

I was thinking about bringing it by the dealership and asking about the warranty, if any.
It certainly won't hurt to ask...
However, my demented mind looks at a situation like this as an opportunity to upgrade to something else, lol

Koplin makes a very nice large review mirror. You can purchase koplin side and rear view mirrors in a combo bundle.

Water. It's a county road that runs along a creek bed for a bit. Usually not much water in it, but plenty yesterday during some sustained rain. Temp was near 60*.
The 520 has windshield, roof, rear panel, cup holders, glove box, mirror, moose hitch.
Time to kick it up a notch or two: front bumper, 12" light bar (no winch on this one), power steering, 881 bulbs, rear bumper, and bed rails
