Picked up the bed rails also. Completes the bed functionality. I do wanna get the Nerfs but still on the fence.

Spare tire and rim came in today. Got it mounted securely in the bed thanks to the bed rails. Used a motorcycle net and some bungies.

Thanks to KYgal83 for the inspiration to put some sounds in the HONDA. This will be removable with a couple Velcro straps (on order) and using a couple hard mounts I already had on the shelf. JBL Exteme II Sounds nice. The misses got it for me on my Birthday. Thanks hun. 😀 Don't mind the TieWraps just temporary. I do have a sheet of Kydex and I'm thinking on making a small cradle for the speaker. 7-25-22 Got the velcro straps on. This puppy is solid! About 20 seconds to remove for charging.

Yesterday I used the front winch on my 500 to stretch some chain link fence and then I installed my Moose hitch receiver.

I ordered the receiver from Dennis Kirk and it was missing 2 of the short spacers. Moose stepped up and sent not only the missing spacers but the whole bolt and spacer kit to me right away. The package arrived yesterday while I was working on the fence.

I contacted both Moose and Dennis Kirk. Moose got back with me right away but I have yet to get a response from Dennis Kirk.

That is funny... I was missing the 2 short spacers in my package too. And unlike you, I reached out to Moose and heard nothing for weeks... still nothing from them.

I took a short spacer to Menards and found a good alternative. I bought 4 so they would all match. Cost me $10, but I could finally finish my project on time.

DocBo's post motivated me to buy and install bed rails. When my wife saw them and asked what function they serve, I told her they make it go faster and increase horsepower. She told me that when I stand next to them, they make me look younger and better looking too. So they are just like rock sliders.

Actually I do like them. I use the 520 to haul firewood back to the shed where I split the wood. I will be able to stack logs higher in the bed without the logs rolling out.

The 520 makes moving my log splitter much easier. My wife and I split some maple logs from a couple trees we had taken down recently. It's not great wood for the wood stove, but it will work fine for the maple sap evaporator setup when I make syrup this coming March.
