A great product. I drilled out a hole for the rear bolt to make it lay flush for tracing a cut out line. A utility knife, rocking back and forth works also.

If you heat the razor knife it cuts real easy.

Excellent skills on that bracket. How did you secure the mic clip? Those ROPS clamps are very handy indeed, have my TYT 8600 on one. The Baofeng handheld is a good choice, use mine as a scanner in the workshop along with its FM radio feature.

The mic bracket is made just like the radio side but the clip has plenty of strength to hold it in place. It is all one bracket.

Today = Doing a little sticker removal, seems to be a cleaner look. Used hand held hair dryer to soften adhesive for easy peel.
