P1000m5 What did you add to/do with your Pioneer 1000 5 today?

Honda front flares. Fit perfectly and very easy install. Impressed by how sturdy they are. See what happens after I bounce them off a tree or two.

I flashed the Dynojet stage 2 tune on my Pioneer and drove around. Worth trying but wow, I didnt expect it to be that lame.

Just flip yours around where the pockets face forward, then pull it up so the front faces down and the two back side straps hook to the side bars of the rops.

Disclaimer; I haven’t gone out to look this over yet.

It seems like you might lose the use of the back (top) rifle pocket if it were up against the roof like that, since the sides of the roof droop down. Has that been your experience?

It doesn’t really matter since I lost all of my firearms in a tragic boating accident…

It’ll easily still hold 2 rifles since the pockets open on the sides, didn’t have that problem at all

It definitely shifts sooner than what I'm used to. I'd like to run it up to 60mph and see what it feels like in 5th and 6th gear. 1-4 feels lazy compared to the other tunes I have

I think it’s a stock tune with different shift points and turns the fan on at a lower temp, nothing else was done for power.

Those are pretty cool, I like the tread design on them. I'll have to look into it. 👍 I wonder if they are cheaper than terrabites.

Ah, gotcha. It's like when I was living in HI, everything was expensive and to ship it in even more so.

Okay I turned it around and fastened it up under the roof. Definitely better view to the rear, and it looks like rifles will fit in fine, if I only had any to put in there…

I removed the two center pockets and attached them to my soft door frame for little pockets, lol.

Installed Viper springs on the rear. Left the fronts springs fox for now. Added 1/2" of pre load measuring spring length all the way around. Found a good wash boarded road to test it out. What a difference.

300 lb springs? How much lift did the 1/2" of preload give you?
