P1000m5 What did you add to/do with your Pioneer 1000 5 today?

Wholly agree. Parking on an incline, I'd rather have the weight on the brakes versus the tranny.
You can feel the bind when you shift out of park. No bueno.

Truth about Hillbilly Brake (at the Club Store) being a great add. Easy, easy install and works! Nice peace of mind while trailering that all the weight isn’t shifting on the parking pawl. Also has holes built in for a lock.

Got a few projects wrapped up in the last 48. Installed 60’ of synthetic rope on the rear Viper Elite 6000 widespool, added the rear work light/auto reverse switch from the club store and switched my audio system to the Swamp Donkey.

Appreciate @Robobrainiac for the thread on his install and tips on the larger insulated clamps for the Swamp Donkey. Sound is great and I have had no issues with the phone pairing and staying connected.

It’s a Texas Tough Customs bumper with the mount built in. Bolts up to the factory cage/frame. Posted a couple pics for you a few pages back on the profile view, don’t think you were looking to add that much length to the back….

You're right now that I looks back a few pages. Still not sure what it mounts too but it's a lot further back than my winch. I'll have a new rear bumper soon

Working on getting it buttoned up and wired…but I installed a KFI Assault 5000lb winch with the KFI bracket. That stuff was easy, but the jack holes at Honda cross threaded half of the front bumper and front differential bracket bolts. Seriously… HALF of them. I cussed more today than I have in a month. I got it all fixed but it wasn’t easy. No one seems to care about quality control anymore!

Yes I’ll post pictures when my project is complete, once the wiring is done.

Used the P1k5 for a platform and power to launch skeet for my grandson. Teaching him to shoot birds. He went 4 for 4 multiple times with my M2 Benelli 20 ga. Got me a new bird hunting buddy!! If my wife and I would have known how much grandkids were, we’d have just had them first!!

Went from white led dome lights in the Swamp Donkey to green. Don’t want to spook the piggies

Installed @Bayouownbeer vent kit. It’s a great kit, has all the tubing, connectors, and wire ties you need in one package. No need to remove any panels or wheels, just the seat and peel back the rubber cover.
I give his kit a 9/10 because, yeah, you could put together the pieces for less. But who wants to have to figure all that out?

Towed home the buddys Popo about 20 miles. Looks like he broke a roller in the primary clutch, clutch was locked fully engaged. (No, it didn't catch fire.)

Finally got off my butt and wired up the key-on/AUX 10 pin rocker switch I got from the HondaSXS Club store last fall. Got tired of looking at it in the dash knowing it did nothing. 😆.

@Hondasxs, did the earlier versions of this switch include the LEDs? I wired it up exactly like your write-up and diagram from 7/22/2021, everything works fine but there is no illumination. I did the "lite with option" version.

Even though I haven't been able to use it as I had intended (yet), I'm finding more and more uses for it around the property and lake. So, yea, you are probably right.
