71 and cloudy here today, hasn't rained here in a couple of days. Mary actually got the Duster and her mom out yesterday and went "shopping" and ate lunch.
Wow, my brother owned a Duster. 360 with a California back seat. Like a hatch back. He wishes he still had it. Cool.

That is funny, the wife's 71 has a 360 in it too. It was out of my youngest son's car that now has a 501/stroked 400 out of my Coronet in it. Hers is plum crazy purple and his is Viper Red.That 360 in the son's car ran 11.70's@114 mph.

Thanks! The old Mopars have been a hobby of mine for a long time. The only problem was I always bought high and sold low. Guess that is why I don't have much to show for all those years of playing. However I have had a few run through my hands.

Nice. You have the weather for nice cars. Up here they go away in October and come out in May. If we’re lucky. Haha

Yea that is true plus we don't have to worry about salt on the roads, I guess our biggest threat is the humidity.

Sucks resorting Mopar. An old Chev can be reassembled using new aftermarket parts from multiple companies, Camero can be built without damn near any original parts. Ford is a little tougher but Mopar requires a lot of diligence and effort along with a wad of cash. Some people don’t respect that.
My Dad always said you could build 2 Fords for the price of a Dodge and and 2 Chevs for the price of a Ford. There is some truth to that, I always respect the work that went into one especially after restoring a few myself

But they retreive a lot of that if you sell them at the right time.

Another big wave hitting the Inland Northwest. Temps dropped and started snowing. Couple inches in last hour already. Balls deep around here

True on the neighbors. They love to look at Marys or Drew's car when they get them out.You always hear them say "I used to have a car just like that" and then they say something stupid and you know they were just talking crap!

When I had the Coronet everyone used to say that they had one with the 440 Hemi in it, when they say 440 Hemi you know either their Mad Cow kicked in or they are full of it :D

Salt is the big killer of cars up here. If you don’t put it away, it’s done. A friend I went to school from little kids, had an AAR Cuda he has had since the 70’s . I saw him at a funeral not long ago and it’s getting another frame off restoration. Haha. Better than new. Everything original. Nice.

We have Mopar friends that live in Kentucky and if they happen to drive on a road that has been salted they go to the nearest car wash if it is open. Salt will kill any kind of car/truck if not removed quickly.

GTX maybe? Basically a Road Runner with nice trim and only came with the Hemi or 440. The last 426 Hemi was produced in 1971.

All it had was a little GTX and a little 426 HEMI on the fender. When I drive past that house I wonder every time. A buddy picked me up in his new 5.9 L. Don’t know the size, but just under a Hellcat. He bought a supercharger after. I said scare me. Haha. He couldn’t. But yeah fast. I asked him what was the top so far. He said 280 klms , that’s around 160 mph, but it felt like it was going to go BANG. It would do it but it wouldn’t. If you know what I mean. Haha
