used to have a snow mobile, from the trail in my backyard you can go anywhere in ny state. but you have to either pay 100 a year for registration or 100 to local club and 10 registration, the club gets groomers and supplies.most years you can use it a couple months but then you have years like this and few days was all. the quads you can use all year

Lots of groomed trails in Cape Breton too. Almost everyone has one. Registration and trail pass. This was the snow a month ago. Sooo. Haha

Yup. He said he’s going to try and get water rights. More money when he sells. Some farms have those half mile long sprinklers that move by water pressure. It’s crazy they can even move.

The farmers get very creative, they build little bridges across ditches so the pivots can cross the ditches without getting hung up.

Way back when I worked on Detroit diesels they used 4 and 6-71 diesels on irrigation systems in the Delta. Those were hydraulically run and if one of them got stuck and the length of it got so many degrees from straight it would automatically shut down. They were 1/4 to 1/2 mile long.

I now, they have huge tires, some of them. I just shake my head at the length of them. My buddy had an old one at the edge of his field that had to be towed. Steel wheels. Very cool.

It’s a beautiful day again today. Sun is bright, the temperature is around 25 and it feels like summer. Haha. Not quite. But it does feel nice.

I know a lot of you guys are dealing with bitter temps and snow, but I have had it good 60s and 70s but it has rained all weekend and will rain every day this coming week and next weekend if nothing changes it is getting old. I have cancelled 2 riding trips because of it. I have to work in it so I don't care to be in it when I don't have to.
