The last 2 weeks, the highest temp was 1 day of 20f and the balance was at most 5F.

Ice is getting real thick on the lakes! Just about need an extension on my ice auger.

The 16" of rain we got in october got it done. Now its muddy as hell every time we get above 32. Last year this time we were dry as hell with wildfires popping up daily. Ive got a bunch of trees that need cut but like firm footing to do it.

71 and cloudy here today, hasn't rained here in a couple of days. Mary actually got the Duster and her mom out yesterday and went "shopping" and ate lunch.

Yeah, wettest year I’ve seen here in New Mexico. We’d been in drought conditions for several years, and last year, first time in recorded history, there was zero snow pack in our mountains. As a result, the trout streams flowing out of the mountains were trickles and in some cases dry. And, just ten miles from my house, people are having their wells go dry....

Mud is better than fire any day. Plus the Blackwaters love it. Haha. I cut big Black Spruce all one winter years ago. It sucks when the snow turns to ice then mud. Fun. Can’t set anything down. Haha, yup. No fun.
