No way can water splash or no way can radiator fan throw water in my intake tube. Simple fix No more hot air going into intake from hot radiator. Good clean fresh air from under dash area. All under hood. The PVC pipe is 2inch and 13inches long Used 1 zip tie to frame.

Shoot you have one of the biggest lakes around. Aren't you close to chelan? Btw I love my rig as well! I hate threads that make it sound like a pos but this had to be addressed

Lake chelan, great for boating and camping. Would only back up my ram enough in the water to get boat off. Why treat the pioneer any different? They aren't designed to be submerged in water.

I would think so, with a good 100% silicone calk would be sufficient

No you are correct but you should be able to run through a puddle at speed. You can do that with your Ram correct? Love that area! Spent lots of time getting in trouble as a kid there. We went back last year and rode Stehekin beautiful country I miss if

I believe it is a 2" PVC schedule 40 coupling

2inch PVC coupling and pipe. I have not sealed it yet. Will seal the pipe and seal the cover I made for the old intake hole in the front. Cost me 0. I had the coupling and pipe. Pipe is 13 inches long. If someone had to buy it all maybe $10 Hardware stores sell pipe by the feet. Find a old antifreeze type jug, I used a weed killer gallon jug I had and cut it to fit the old intake hole and glued it in. You can drill it with everything on the machine I did move the wiring harness as you can see in the pics. I think 1& 1/2 PVC would be big enough.
