your shop was my garage inspiration

Not only is a talon a slap paddle, happy machine - it’s also a perfect steel saw horse

what are you sealing with and are you doing both sides ?

Thanks. I've been on and off working on over the years.

I did one coat on back. Front I put two coats on, light sand with steel wool then two more coats.

I tried to find something that would not yellow much over time. This is what I used

Looks great. I put up some tongue and groove in my office. Stained with Minwax Golden Pecan. I did not do both sides. Out in my shop, I will have a 8x15 room to make deer sausage in. I am going to put up some more stained tongue and groove. What is the benefit of staining both sides? It won't be climate controlled out there unless we're making sausage.

I just sealed it in case any moisture got to back side I guess.

We are about to start clearing ground for our 30x50 deep shop. Talking with Summertown Metals

And just like that, the shop is on hold...

An adjoining property owner was willing to sell to us, and since you can't build land, the garage fund just got drained to buy trees and dirt... Heck of a deal for us, in that Airbnb's are popping up fast and furious around the Catoosa WMA and Obed WSR, and we didn't another one that close to us....
