A weld in gusset kit would be nice

I did not use the weld in washer. Maybe the CATVOS arms don’t have that problem like a super ATV. Over 3k miles and no wear on those bolts or the holes. Honestly, I would have installed it if I had them. It definitely wouldn’t hurt.

The bolts Ohana linked were for the rear arms. I will measure up front arms this evening. The washer should work on the fronts as well. Just a shorter cap screw. I'll see if my laser guy can price me those gussets. Should be easy enough to ship flat and end user bend them to shape prior to install.

Actually those long bolts are the front upper a-arm where one bolt goes through the entire arm. All the rear arms are individual bolts for each side.

Wow, no updates for a while. Not much going on for Traveller the last two months. I did inspect it very well yesterday and found a few issues.

First thing I wanted to do is change the passenger rear wheel bearing. It was loose but not loud. Looks pretty bad


New bearing..


No pictures but the passenger front upper a-arm had a little wiggle that I could hear from the drivers seat so I replaced those bushings.

Then the steering rack bushings was worn so it got changed too.

I noticed an oil leak in the rear diff so I changed the seal. This was also the passenger side....strange.


Around the top of the oil seal in the picture you can see the deterioration where some of it had chunked out.

On funny thing I noticed, I pulled the seal out of the rear diff and there was no sealant on it. I didn’t have a new seal so I pulled on from the old diff that was broken. That seal was glued in with sealant.

I did both seals when i rebuilt axles. Neither of mine had sealant.

My rear wheel bearings had slop but neither was as bad as yours
