It's right at 4 1/2 inches lower than stock. I think it's going to be just about right for me.

Hell ya!!! Nice job Joey! Amazing what a few inches difference makes I like that last pic it gives reference.

I just got in from work a little early and took my skid plates off to run some wiring while I had it off I thought it be a good time to give a thorough inspection. I brushed away dirt and grease from all the suspension mounting locations for an inspection and found that the driver side rear lower a arm mount looks to have been stressed and has a slight crack. That's not good! I went through this in the pioneer 700 quite a bit. I just can't figure out how that would ever happened as this vehicle is pretty much just a mall cruiser.

I think they're going to be bright enough! There are no lights on in the shop other than the four lights in the wheel wells. Not bad for $12 total of lights.

Are ya done yet?o_O

I worked from 10-4 and then had to take a break. Momma has a torn knee and that has increased my work load around home.

I'll be back at it tomorrow. I'll find the latest pic though....

This proves the back was cut too.

Tomorrow work list is weld it all, make a new cross bar for head rests and harnesses, fit top, test fit windshield and see what it needs, and paint.

Then I bring it home to hook up the interior lights, hook up the sound bar again, mount new rear view camera, mount front camera, make under-seat storage, replace broken steering stops, replace two bad ball joints, replace one leaking CV boot, test fit BugBuster screen and mount new shocks......s***!, I'm tired from just typing that.

I think you'll like 4.5" just fine. Not too much either way. Looks great! Not sure how bad the roof will be but windshield is piece of cake. Very easy/sturdy to cut. You can even place top mounts on the sides if ya want more clearance. Very easy to work with.

I may have to call you to get a better explanation of what you did.

Ok but can probably explain it on here. If not my first day off is Tues.
You're gonna have to cut top section either at bottom and lose your Z shape or cut top and reinstall your seal. I chose the top. Attach bottom section. Place bottom of top section on the bottom section and measure how much you need to cut at top. Whack it off (I used jigsaw with wood blade. Metal blade builds too much heat and will weld your cut back together lol).
After top section is cut, place it back on machine and mark it where the tube mounts are. Then use 3/4" hole saw and cut holes. Stock grommets go back in holes and your set. I didn't mess with top seal but it shouldn't be a big deal. Clear as mud?

10–4. I was actually thinking about cutting it at the bottom and see if I can bend the plastic but if you say that's pretty EZ, it must be.

Thanks bud

I've been wanting to add a sub.. but I have no place for it. I added the ridiculously priced storage box under the seat for all my essential but seldom used items. This might be a viable option for me. But I hate to take up that floor space. Ohhhh the dilemma!!

Remember....subs need air
to keep it cool....heats up...
shuts down...
just sayin ...roof mount..
with 2" spacers...worked
for me...up out of the
way....install looked sweet

Totally up to you man whichever you think is best. I'd totally trust any method you come up with.
