I just got in from work a little early and took my skid plates off to run some wiring while I had it off I thought it be a good time to give a thorough inspection. I brushed away dirt and grease from all the suspension mounting locations for an inspection and found that the driver side rear lower a arm mount looks to have been stressed and has a slight crack. That's not good! I went through this in the pioneer 700 quite a bit. I just can't figure out how that would ever happened as this vehicle is pretty much just a mall cruiser.

I started scraping some paint off and it looks like there's not much of a crack. Looks like it may have flexed enough to break the paint but it doesn't look like it's too weak.

I think I'm gonna leave it alone instead of welding it and maybe causing the weakness in the metal right next to the Weld. When you look at the piece as a whole, it's a very substantial piece and probably not any fear of it breaking anymore.

it doesn't loot that steep in the pic, but if you show any sign of a beer gut I don't think you could climb up it on your feet

I'm surprised to to see damage on rear mount especially with good shocks.
