I drilled a hole over the roll cage and let the string go straight down and tied it around the roll cage.

Give it a little dot of black RTV and you'll have nothing to worry about.

I upgraded the phone a couple weeks ago so I decided to use the old one as a multi purpose device. I tied it to the Wetsounds for now. It doesn't seem to affect the sound and the phone is easily accessed.

It will be an inclinometer....


MP3 player always blue toothed to the speaker....


It will also be a reverse camera/remote control for the rear mounted GoPro.....



I'll be able to use the new phone for GPS navy if needed and it can also control the 360 cam. I can't wait to try it all out tomorrow.

Best part about using the phone for those things is I didn't have to buy any thing. I already had the phone and GoPro. I should get a phone mount but at least the zip ties will work for tomorrow's ride.

Wow, I though only my wife could do that. Last year she ran over a metal key way stake used in concrete form work. The stake went through the tire and through the aluminum rim on her edge.

Was it something you ran over that did that or was it from the rocks.

I'm thinking a rock got slung into the back side of the wheel and spun around until it hit the brake caliper. That's the damage pattern I see anyway. Nothing when thru the tire. The dent is pushed in from the outside.

Just a single mount seems to be holding up good.

I cant find either of the ones I bought.. these should work though.
