Have had good luck with my keystone Carbon the last 8yrs till the tornado jacked it up or Id sill have it. Had good luck with our keystone Cougar when we had it the pervious 5 yrs as well.
Im looking at Grand Design now just for a change. Unless a fusion comes in at a good price. Thats an upgrade from my Carbon
Nice!

When we were still in the TH mode we really wanted a Momentum but at the time the cost is what pushed us at the Wolfpack. They are nice campers for sure.

A friend was looking at toy haulers and started running the CCC weight numbers. With the bare minimum of supplies, he would have been overloaded if he put the buggy in it. (double axle) So be very careful, some of the manufactures are selling under engineered trailers. The friend went up to a triple axle.

The OP did.

‘22 F250 CC SB 4x4 with the 6.2l.

The GVWR off the door is not given but it’s not a huge step to determine approximately the payload available…that’s where the approximately 3k payload I mentioned came from. I looked it up. Depending on trim level and GVWR on the door, the available legal payload is between 3000 and 3400 lbs.

The OP asked for advice, not a detailed tutorial or permission. To accuse the OP of hiding anything is foolish.

The OP can take or leave the advice given based in the information they provided.
I appreciate all the info I got on my truck. I really loved the responses about campers. That is what I was looking for. I have also been looking at campers all summer. Was just testing the waters on what fellow Honda members, who may have a Talon were towing. Trying to measure things at a busy dealership can be challenging. I know I can tow 12500. Thanks for all the comments regardless. It all helps.

Oh C’mon now, that would mean updated info about your truck then You said it ;) But did you actually look at those before hand?

Just FYI, there isnt that much if anything thats been updated in RV’s but layouts and price increases in the last 10-15 yrs. Structural chassis still same concept.

There's a lot of good information here but manufacturer's weight charts are usually optimistic and often inaccurate.

Class II trucks ie GM and Ram 2500, Ford F-250 have adequate pulling power but are usually overloaded with any fifth wheel trailer.

The only way to accurately determine payload is to load the truck as it will be loaded for travel ie driver, wife (passenger), kids (if any), dogs (if any), full fuel tank, spare wheel and tire, hitch, tools, camping gear, whatever the owner will normally carry - then take it to a scale and weigh each axle, and both axles - without trailer.

Then subtract actual rear axle weight from RAWR (max weight capability of rear axle). That number is usually marginally adequate for 5er towing.

Just got back from the show. And to my surprise there were many RVs I never heard of before. Was all good though the sales people were measuring and trying to help the best they could. Hard to believe a few of them didn't even know what a Talon was.

Check out a Grand Design Momentum 31G for a Talon. Terry Hatfield has one, he's a member here and has a YouTube channel showing mods he's done. It's a nice trailer but bust out your wallet.
I have a P5 so didn't need a trailer that big and went with the 21G. They're as bad as sxs's with the mods and accessories. Have a sh!t ton into mine but it's a nice set up.
Here is his...

Thanks I have checked his videos out before. I did see the one you posted. I've looked at the G-class campers from Grand Design. $$$$$ The G31 is nice though.

Agreed. RV quality was eliminated when the muslim socialist and his party took over the US government in 2008. All the quality brands like Alfa, Travel Supreme, Coachman, Weekend Warrier toy haulers, and many others were shut down within months.

I looked at a stryker toy hauler. It seemed solid. I wasn't sure I could get out of my talon once I got it inside. But I know nothing of that brand.

Ok, my 2 cents… (not that it matters)
You’re gonna want a travel trailer for the truck you’re pulling it with.
As others on here have said the Work-N-Play ,Jayco Octane, Fuel by Heartland, Grand Design are capable of hauling your talon and sleeping 4 people. My advice to you is know what your vehicle’s capabilities are such as payload (anything you put in or on the truck is payload including tongue weight ) and how much total weight it can pull.
Then start looking at campers and floor plans that fit your needs.
Look at camper dry weight (what it weighs empty)
And what’s it’s CCC (Cargo Carrying Capacity)
In a perfect world you want the lightest dry weight with the highest CCC.
Take measurements of your buggy and bring a tape measure and measure the garage area.
And lastly, ALL campers are made like shlt and have issues,
Some are better shlt than others so look real close at fit and finish, open cabinet doors, look under the bed ect.
Good luck on your purchase and remember…

Stryker was on my short list at the end of my search. There was something goofy the wife didn't like about it though, TV over the sink or something?

I looked at a Stryker and they are pretty good, went with the fuel 287 because the Boss liked the U shaped kitchen
