Todd's 2019 Talon

I'm late to the game but I finally got one of these things.

Specs:
Bone stock mostly unmolested 2019 Talon 1000x. 2 seater
2400 miles 160ish hours.
Driver door kinda crunched and a few fenders that didnt fit great.
Front tires look ok but the rears were gone.

This will be the replacement for my wife's 2015 Wildcat Sport. It's been a great machine but it's time for a bit bigger and more capable machine for our adventures.

Got it home and the boys were excited to check it out and make it cool

Threw some 1.5" spacers on the back with 14x7 wheels and 30" EFX tires that were hiding in the corner of the garage from the Pioneer.

New friends. 2018 Pioneer on 31s and half a Superatv catalog

Plan for the Talon. Drive it. Have fun. Repeat.

Rear chase light
Rearview mirror
Factory UTV or Trail armor full skids
Lower door inserts
Warn front bumper or possibly Boseman
Traveler 6k winch, smaller winch if we get the Boseman bumper
Rear tow point or hitch, undecided on that
Some additional interior storage

We'll have it in the dirt next weekend and add to this list

They work and I'm not going 4ft wide and 3 different colors. Just a 7" Amber LED. Our whole group runs them and they cut through dust great

Send the lower door bottoms back and purchase '23/'24 doors along with new bushings. More storage and no constant rattle from the bolt on bottoms. I think HOF has another set in inventory, plus they were unbelievably cheap

I just put the Warn bumper on mine a couple months ago, went with it cause it gets the winch up high & out of the mud. I'll snap a couple pics if'n you want

If done both on 4 seaters. If you are doing the wrap around skids, go with Trail Armor much cleaner fit and look. If just doing bottom, either are great.

Id like the full wrap. It'll cover a wound in the factory plastic. That's good advice

Yeah I'd like to see how it meets the bottom mount. Do you have a skid plate? Any gap under the bumper?

Yeah I'd like to see how it meets the bottom mount. Do you have a skid plate? Any gap under the bumper?

I'm running the Ricochet full aluminum skid plate, at the time it was the only one available that didn't use self tappers. I've since had them sprayed w bedliner.

No noticeable gap between bumper & skid.

I put a Viper 6K widespool on it, my Warn 4500 narrow spool had the wrong pattern, the bumper is only drilled for a wide spool.


I did have to trim the side piece on the passenger side to mount the viper.

That light will probably work but I know the 6" RC light bar fits because I have on in my bumper on the Pioneer. Thanks for the suggestion

I'm sure the RC light is higher quality, it was more of just finding something to fill the hole, I haven't turned it on since I mounted it 😆

Use 10OVER250 should save you 10%

Don't forget the trailing arm guards.

And some like the A-Arm guards while some don't. Got em on my T1K2FLV.
