Those look great. Do you have a link to the build? I’m assuming usual MDF ring on stilts, then covered and fiberglassed?
No I kinda just winged it with ply wood and fiberglass nothing to it really just to do it made both in 30 min

So, I'm back from vacation and ready to work of stuff. I have the roof where I'm happy and started painting it this afternoon.

This morning I started the install on the bump seat. It came nicely packaged and installed in about 1 hour at most.

I didn’t have it pushed back far enough yesterday when I tried to install it. The bracket was correct. I didn’t realize when they said “pry” it better the seats, that I would have to climb in the machine and feel like I was going to break the seats getting it in between. But, I got it. ;)

The machine goes in low now.

Here is my 50lb 6 year old sitting in it before I pushed it between the seats. Should be good for at least 2 years with the lower cage on the machine.

I was poking around today looking for ways to spend more money on this machine, and found out it already has mud gaurds in front of the rear tires already. I just need to grab a few pushpins, or zip ties.

I got my roof on today. It's 1/8' aluminum. Hopefully the black paint holds up. I used some spacer clamps on the middle bar to give it a little arch. I also used some 1/2" gasket by the bolts to try to stop rattling.

It didn’t fit quite right when I got home. Over bent the angles. It’s about 1-3/4” too narrow. 🤔

I think I’ll cut some slits in the bends to open them back up a little and just weld it tomorrow. Your not a good welder until you’re a good grinder!

Im trying to decide if I want to do a swing away hinge, or make it drop in with pins. I don’t really think I’ll be opening it that much. I’ll use the 1000-5 if I need a bed.

Overall it actually fits really close for my crappy cardboard template and 45 minutes worth of work so far!

I’m not sure if I’ll do a spare tire mount or not. It does fit inside the bed right now. I haven’t needed a spare tire on any of my trail rides for the last 20 years. I just carry a plug kit and I’ve only used it once on someone else’s machine. But, I’ve heard the talon needs some rear weight.

Well, I decided to go with a drop in type design. I put 4 clamps on my cage and put 4 pins on the gate. I’ll secure it down with a couple bungee cords because I don’t think I’ll be taking it off and on very often. It stays where it is without the bungees and doesn’t rattle, but I figure they are cheap insurance. I’ll get a pic on the machine this weekend.
