So here it is real simple, one wire to hot. Flasher unit gets wired in line in the power wire to the center pole of the 3 position switch. From there one side goes to left turn and one tonight turn. Each light gets grounded individually. Mount the 3 position switch sideways so that when you switch left, the lift blinkers come on and vice versa. Simple as it gets.

Cool, I suppose a three position back lit rocker would work as well??? Thanks mopar, much appreciated. What particular flasher unit did you purchase?

See above pic. got it from Auto zone, it was just a simple 2 prong flasher. I don't suppose it probably matters much but I got the heavy duty one.

Problem with that is it's momentary, so you'll have to hold it down to keep the blinker on. If your cool with that then yeah, it'll work.

Ive got those led dot lights. I've got a 50 pack of them to install wherever I want. I'm gonna have the trailer all chicken lighted out.

They will be functional today as well today. Beat my ass getting the headlight switch out of the dash.
