Awesome… thanks for the input… didn’t like how the SuperATV ones bolted in the middle… I was still thinking about adding outer rock slides again like I did to the Pioneer.. I’ll have to find the post/pick and link
Here those slides I am talking about:

Here is another thread:

Would you rather have more coverage up front (blue) and lose the back coverage (purple)? @Hometeam @Hondasxs others? I need help picking one

I have had really good luck with our 3 AED sets. I also have a set from Craig Spilker (FB guy) that seems to be just as good. Really any of the quality cage builders, like Warhead, make a heavy duty one that will hold up to our abuse. The mass produced ones are not strong enough for how we ride. My oem rear bumper looked like a demolition car before I pulled it off. I gotta have it strong to hold up to my kids slamming them in to trees and rocks. They drive like a bull in a china shop….well I guess I drive that way too!!🤪😂🤣
What did you do for a rear bumper? Factory honda one is just for looks.

I didn't add the skid protection under mine as they would hold a ton of mud I figured. I prefer the way the warhead rises up and protects the plastic and fender a little better because going through the ruts almost on your side it would seem to protect more. but with the bar pointing back twords the tire keeps trees from getting in there and tearing up that stuff and both seem to have that covered. Is there much of a price difference?

It does seem like trading one potential plastic issue for another

I would choose the AED one, but I don’t think either one is the wrong choice. I don’t like the mud catcher on the warhead set up as much.
I’d also get the one without the mud catcher… that was just a sample image to see if the coverage up front would better or the higher coverage in the back would be better… 🤷‍♂️

We just use the exhaust as a bumper now. It’s about as sturdy as the actual bumper was!😜 And it gives me an excuse to get a new exhaust then!!lol
Actually the new cage tail gate sticks out just enough past the rear to kind of protect it.

Oh, on tires, looks like you're thinking about the AMS M1 Evils.

That's what I went with on my '23 T1KR2FLV and all I have to say is: @Hondasxs was spot on! I really like those tires on the Talon.

Yea, I figured if Bossman is still running them, they have to be worthy... just need to figure out the offset I want to do.. leaning toward the "factory" 6+1 & 4+3 (I think that is correct)

My setup - very pleased with the choice:

AMS M1 Evil 32x10-15
System3 SB-4 15x7 +45 (5.5+1.5) Matte Black
1.5" spacers on rear to correct track
Tires measure 31.5" diameter after mounting.
