Met up with @Koda and @Remington here at Highlander RV . Remington and I took a little night ride up to the Ghost town of Carson. It got cold quick!

100Acre; sorry we missed you. We got there Monday AM and found our StraightTalk Verizon phones were roaming and wouldn't work. It's funny to see all your pics and think that we probably weren't very far away at times. One thing I found odd was there were NO Hondas on the trails. I did see one Talon and a Pioneer 700 on Friday but everything else was Poolaris Razors, Kawasakis and CanAms. As posted in my Silverton/Lake City thread, we towed a new CanAm SXS that had pitched a rod from American Basin turn, over Cinnamon and all the way to Silverton. My wife said they were glad to see a Honda to their rescue. Our (except tires) stock rig pulled my family of 6, 2 of them and their rig like a tractor. I only had to stop once near the snowbank on the east side of Cinnamon to let it cool down a bit.

Yeah but he has an aluminum rim for a spare. So his factory lugs won’t work. I had to remove my spare from my tire carrier so he’d have some lugs. It’s all good, I have him covered

When RMATV SCREWED UP MY ORDER when I stopped in Payson to pick up the spare tire and rim. I wanted a steel rim. They said they had one. Nope. So they gave me an aluminum one instead but didn’t tell me I needed different lugs. Glad @Remington was with us so I could use his spare lugs.

More pics of the trail today! Awesome ride with @100Acre and @Koda and his wife. Great people and exceptional riders at that. Ate at a BBQ joint in silverton today as well. Look for hit the trails again with them tomorrow.
