Is it for sale....🤔
Haha better not be ! That’s a BA truck! Been in it before. The cab is almost a carbon copy of mine, just that the chassis is a 450 and mine is a 350. His rides a bit rougher. I really like his bed and aux tank config.

Any issues w the Cruze other than the Bowtie on the front? Always looking for the next work rig and that one is on my radar.
I have a friend that bought one for his daughter and basically the transmission is a one of a kind type and is in his words “junk” he’s had it rebuilt twice and cuz of its “special one of a kind” status, it’s very expensive to have rebuilt. Not to mention the DEF heater is another chronic problem in the car. It likes to fail and not let you go over 65mph.
I’d rather have an older Jetta if I had the choice.

For sure! I owned a non-tdi back in the day, slower than heck but phenomenal mpg.

Kinda what I figured about the Cruze.....it is a Chevy after all.

My 2017 has almost 110,000 miles and only 1 issue when I first purchased it when the DEF injector cracked around 300 miles.

I drive over an hour 1 way to work so thats probably been a major factor in the car making it this far without issue. I change the oil every 7500 miles with Schaeffers and a OEM filter and the air, fuel, cabin filter every 30k miles. Swapped tires @ 65k miles and still on the original brakes.

The DEF sucks and nobody officially has a delete yet. There are some guys out there that have done it on their own, but I'm not throwing away a $25k car over some urea.

I think the model @Remington is referring to may be the older model (2014-2015) that had emissions and other problems. Thats why the delete option was so prevalent for those.

The only consistent issue I've seen with the 2017-2019 model is with manual transmission flywheels.

As with any newer DEF diesel, they hate being putted around and stop and go traffic.

I guess I sorta expected to see a Toyota or Honda product sitting in your driveway

We were always a domestic family, we've never owned anything other than the big 3. We'd probably would've went through alot less cars if we had went foreign.

I was looking at an Accord but you had to get a CVT trans and at the time they weren't super reliable. Toyotas newer stuff isn't worth much anymore either. I wouldn't have a newer Taco, the engine and trans combo they have now won't make it anywhere near the miles of the older models.

When it comes to trucks, I'm a 1st gen Dodge guy. If I had to pick a new truck it would probably be Ford, the newer Silverado hasn't grown on me yet and FCA doesn't make anything id own nowadays.

My daughter and son-n-law own a 2015 Jetta TDI. They still have the Chrysler 300 but it only got 25mpg and the Jetta gets 45-47 on the highway and the daughter has a lead foot.
