Yep, I short course race the Honda because it's the best N/A machine available to get the job done.

I bought the KRX to rock crawl because it's built like a brick s***house and can take the abuse I throw at it. I would have already totaled a Talon taking it the same places I've taken my KRX. Right tool for the job and all.....
Then you don’t ride it hard.😜 I haven’t ridden with a KRX that hasn’t broke yet.🤪 My Talon has outlasted and has been beat on more than the KRX I’ve seen. Oh and I am mounting 35s on a completely stock Talon R too!!🤷🏽‍♂️

The engine flaw is with cylinder 2 (I believe). It gets starved out for fuel. Maybe it’s been fixed but it definitely was a thing. Oh and I’ll throw in the clutch weights are crap too. Your 35s will show you that in time.

And I am KRX hater!!🤣😂🤣😂

If you're putting 35s on a stock Talon you and I don't play on the same terrain. Your clutches would hate life trying to follow me around playing in big boy rocks, nevermindthe fact you don'thave enoughgearing to do it..... Or a front locker. And what are your hammer friends breaking that you ride with? I am in no way easy on equipment and haven't broken it yet, but I can also drive so that may be it. The one accessory you can't buy for a SxS is talent. 😁

lol. I’m pretty sure I put our Talons through the wringer and our rocks in Tennessee are big too….and they are slick to add. I own one Talon with 36,000 miles on it and stock clutches…..let me know when you get your KRX over 15k. I 💯 know I would go anywhere you go!! Question is would follow me and keep up!! And if I want to do the gear reduction, then I’m way gtg and still no belt (I actually have one sitting the box and it’s not that expensive). When you fix your KRX weights, you are still left with a belt that will still put grooves in. The wheel speed on the KRX is to slow to break things. So that is kind of exposing your talent equation or lack of it. Just because you race on smooth dirt doesn’t mean you have talent in the rocks….

Oh boy, I'm going to have to replace clutch weights, BFD. Sure beats having to buy high clearance suspension components, beadlocks and low gearing just to go where a stock KRX will.

You think this KRX is my first venture into the rock crawling world? 🤣 This was the last crawler I built and wheeled before moving to Texas. You might recognize the terrain, some of these were from one of our AOP trips.....

If you make it over to Crossbar Ranch, Disney, SMORR, Barnwell Mtn. or Hot Springs Offroad Park feel free shoot me a PM and I'll gladly let you try and follow me around.

Even better... You bring a stock Talon with skidplates and I'll put the stock 31s back on the stock beadlocks on my stock KRX with skidplates and we will see who can follow who. 😁

lol sounds good. I’ll bring my kids…they drive them on all the types of trails you are taking about too. Maybe you should try and keep up them first. I have already had 2 of our talons all over SMORR. Fun park. I had a jeep too. Been to Texas, Colorado, Utah, etc. in it. 🤣 Hey, how far can you pee?? I can pee pretty far!!😜🤓🤣

And my stock Talon skid might be thin but your KRX will be pushing up on your motor and diffs before long, heavy turd…..and the clutches get grooved by the failed weights too. So a little more than just weights. I did research a KRX for about a year before I knew I didn’t want one!!😉

I have wheeled with Hometeam. He’s a damn good driver and has no fear. He will keep up. I watched him climb rocks on no business trail. He stomped on the throttle and stood that buggy straight up at the top. At this particular rock climb was broken axles and other buggy parts littering the trail. No fear!

I ride with plenty of KRX's that are all built in my old s***box Talon with no locker on 32/33's. Usually leading the way on the difficult obstacles so I don't have much in the way of video or pictures. I'd like to see the obstacles you'd total the Talon out on though that you've made in the KRX.

I do agree with you, you’re also a damn good driver with no fear.
