One of the thing I had a love hate with was the tranny, I hated trying to drive under 5 mph without the donkey effect and I looked into everything to fix that. Bigger tires just pointed out that the power steering was not powerful enough, no tune or change to 2024 so no use trading it in. I spent over 2k on suspension to make it at least barible. The honda Talon 1000x is a reliable machine #1, has good trade in value #2. It doesn't scare you wife cause it's to fast. #3 Most fan boy loyal base out there #4,5,6,7,8,9, ext.....
Well I have no issues with eather. I think you just didnt know how to drive it.
plenty of good tunes to help you rig. Just need to learn how to use the search you would have known how. Good luck and will see you on the trails up in smoke fan boy! 😘NoHmo

Good video. I hadn't seen that before but personally know everyone he mentioned. I have thoughts about the engine build side of things and think he went to the wrong guy but I'm going to keep my mouth shut.

One thing he was wrong about is the cylinders being plated. They are not plated but do have extremely thin iron sleeves pressed into them that can't be bored oversize although some say they can be honed enough for .020 oversized pistons. Once you go past that dimension the block it no longer usable and needs to be replaced. There is a machine shop in Iowa that bores the old cylinders oversize and installs new sleeves that are much thicker than stock for less than half the cost of a new block. I'm literally about to ship them the block in my race car because I pulled a stupid and let the engine suck in a bunch of dirt. That guy sounded really dumb saying "they bored my motor out and put stock size pistons in it." If he had even the slightest clue he would have realized that what he is saying was false and would know that rhe engine wouldn't even run like that.... 🤪

All the turbo Talons I know of that are making big power (well over 250hp) with high boost reliably are using custom Darton sleeves that prevent the tops of the cylinder walls from breaking like his did.

My engine guys turbo Talon makes big horsepower and has ZERO issues.......

I bought 3 fricken sxs till i found one i like and you still b****, I really wish ppl were true on what they said I could have save 10s of thousands. The truth the talon is a two seat four wheeler at best, and not a 250r fourtrax cause I owned one. It's a great machine but not for thrill seekers at all. Unless you like your rear end bouncing 4 foot above your front end and flipping.

I'm just a P1K5 peasant and don't have a Talon but, exactly what kind of trails are you seeking "thrill" from?

🤔.....or is it the thrill of never knowing what'll break next on your new RZR?🙄

Interesting video. Really don’t feel sorry for the guy. Why would you mess up a good motor ?

Lots easier to buy a decent used motor, ship it off to have the Darton sleeves installed, and then build a fire breathing dragon. So much cheaper to ship it, than to haul it.

Poor planning and haste on his part. What a waste of time and money.

Just proves ya don’t have to be very smart to have a YT Channel.
